Y’all have given us 3 years of head-turning, sultry club looks leaving us gagged every time. 3 years of intimate dance-floor moments filled with euphoric dancing, impassioned make-outs, and collective emotional releases. 3 years of having a GAY ASS TIME AT THE CLUB.
On June 25th, Boudoir will be celebrating our 3 year PRIDE anniversary with a stunning lineup of 2 sonic selectors: Lychee (NYC) and Ariel Zetina (CHI).
A sorcerexx behind the decks, Lychee specializes in weaving pulsing deeply-psychedelic techno that softly envelopes you into a dance-floor trance. Their commitment to nurturing the underground dance music scene can be seen through their work zine project @spontaneousaffinity. A monthly mix & interview series with an annual zine, this project serves as a beautiful collection of perspectives of producers & DJs alike exploring the communal nature of the dancefloor.
Truly a multimedia artist with dynamic range, Ariel Zetina is not bound by the typical constraints of a single genre nor a consistent tempo in her DJing. She seamlessly shifts between techno, Chicago house, c*nty club edits, lustrous pop vocals, sensually dripping bass and Belizean genres punta & brukdown. From a residency at Chicago’s famed house club Smartbar to global releases & countless remixes, Ariel Zetina has a innate sense of being able to deeply connect to a crowd and leave them craving more. A model, a poet, a playwright, an educator on trans electronic music history, everything Ariel touches turns to gold. We could not be more thrilled to have this ICON close out the event.
Hosted in the easy, breezy Garage B at the Speedway - a large indoor/outdoor warehouse - you can work up a sweat on the dance floor and then cool off outside under the moonlight.
