The Solidarity Show was started to raise money and awareness for the Marsha P. Johnson Institute. This foundation is named for one of the lead figures in the Stonewall Riots and focuses on supporting our most marginalized community members: black trans women.
With this fundraising goal in mind, we hope to honor the events of the Stonewall Riots, honor the strength of the trans and lesbian women of color at the forefront of that fight for LGBTQIA+ equality, and stand in solidarity with our black siblings as they currently fight for justice and equality.
The show itself will be in a variety format featuring drag queens, speakers, poets, and singers from across the community. Please join us on this 3rd of July to commemorate the final day of the Stonewall Riots and help raise money for a tremendous cause in need!
