Hysteria is the ultimate comedy open mic for women and queers in the vibrant city of San Francisco. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out, Hysteria provides a warm and welcoming environment where women and queer comedians of all levels can showcase their talents. The best part? It's a FREE night of fantastic comedy that guarantees laughter and good vibes.
Join us every second Wednesday at the iconic SF Eagle Bar for an unforgettable evening of hilarity and camaraderie. Hosted by the one and only Wonder Dave, Hysteria has been a staple of the Bay Area comedy scene since its inception in 2015. Founded by Irene Tu and Jessica Sele, Hysteria became a thriving platform for women and queer comedians. In 2017, Wonder Dave joined the team, injecting his unique brand of wit and charm into the mic. Though Irene and Jessica eventually ventured on to new comedy adventures, they left the legacy of Hysteria in Wonder Dave's capable hands.
Signups start at 6:45 for a 7:00 show, so arrive early to perform!
