About
What is Sapphic Nights?
Sapphic Nights is an event that was created by two queer women who wanted to make a safe, inclusive LGBTQ party in Boston, where women & non-binary folks can be themselves and party like never before!
See the official page for current themes and tickets.
What does Sapphic Mean?
Both word “sapphic” and “lesbian” come from a similar origin.
They come from the Greek poet, Sappho, of Lesbos Island, famously known in the LGBTQ community for her writing of love and desire for women.
Sapphic is an umbrella term for lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals, trans and nonbinary folks.
That is why our party is called “Sapphic Nights”.
