Know THEIRSTORY: La Boum was founded by DJ Stell in 2008 as a queer dance night when the Milky Way moved from Hyde Square to the Brewery Complex. Before that, La Boum had evolved from a DIY friend-run phenomenon of a night called Gross Anatomy feat. DJ Stell, Dafna, and PK, a packed pop and indie sleez Wednesday night dance party that was voted Best Gay Night in the 2008 Phoenix Reader's Poll.
